Backend Developer

Building backend ecosystem for TapNav products including Web and Mobile solutions

Writing clean, quality and performance optimised code

Applying your Node.js knowledge to creating data pipelines and web services

Using state-of-the-art, latest releases of frameworks and libraries

Having meaningful impact on the project: analysing requirements, functional specifications, and recommending improvements

Closely collaborating with DevOps, QA and Frontend/Mobile client teams

Experience in backend development using TypeScript with Node.js

Experience with relational as well as NoSQL databases

Good understanding of REST APIs

Good understanding of systems design

Desirable knowledge: AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, Redis, ExpressJS

Good spoken and written English

Ability to work in a team

Excellent attention to detail and being able to see the bigger picture

Taking responsibility, making decisions and taking initiative in innovating on features and processes alike

Excellent organisational skills and self-discipline
